The Human Rights Memorial was completed in December of 1999 It commemorates the suffering of political victims during the "white terror,' and the sacrifices they made for democracy and human rights. The purpose of the Park is to give visitors a better understanding of this period of history written in blood and tears, in the hope that it will never be repeated
