This is where the prison authorities held political classes for the prisoners, assemblies, and lectures on special occasions. The content of the classes and lectures included the Three Principles of the People, the teachings of Sun Yat-sen, and the sayings of the President. There were also group discussions and tests. This was another means, in addition to labor, of eforming the prisoners and controlling their thought. The building has been reinforced and is now used as a hall for permanent and special exhibitions.
