Free astivity-temporarily
Yards were located between the structures of Bagua Building, There were four of these areas, where the political prisoners were allowed limited free activity for 30 minutes each morning and afternoon. Prison officials initially monitored the activity closely, and the prisoners wen allowed out in separate groups according to their area of building and the odd or even number of ther cells. Later on the main Yards used were those on the northern side. In the limited time and space allowed them, the prisoners would play ball and engage in other activity, enjoying a short period of freedom.
