The exhibition area was originally the quarters of the 3rd squadron, containing bedrooms for prisoners and prison officials alike. It has been rebuilt in its original form, using oral descriptions and drawings by former prisoners or rare photographs and writings from the prison years. The spirit and sacrifices of the prisoners in seeking human rights and freedom remind us today that this abuse of human rights something we can scarcely imagine now-can never be forgotten.
